Launched in 1969, ADIDAS SUPERSTAR were designed for basketball but quickly became a cultural icon – especially in the hip hop community. With a synthetic leather upper, classic three stripes highlighted on the side, rubber sole and characteristic rubber toecap shaped as a sheel that give it a unique look, these sneakers are still as current as at the time of their 1st appearance. This laceless version is a tribute to the rap band Run-D.M.C since its members used them like this.
